La maison de tante Rosa

The apartment is in the city center, a 10 minutes walk from the historical old town of Siracusa. We were two couples and got two separate studios next to each other. The host was very flexible and friendly and helped us with any questions, like restaurant or supermarket recommendations.

The lock on the bath room was not working properly, it caused some nervous minutes but finally we could solve it with the help of the host!

The door to the room was directly from the street, lucky for us that we got late and check out early, but during the night there are some noise from the street.

The apartment was absolutely perfect. It was new, spotlessly clean, and had everything I could ask for. The layout was functional with a big shower space and made my stay very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again, highly recommend!

Host very available. It was a studio with everything new and clean! It had a kitchen and utensils for cooking. Big shower space. Tv, air conditioner, hair dryer, confortable bed

The bed was quite comfortable, the shower spacious, and the fan and A/C worked well. Nice kitchen setup with cooktop, mini fridge and sink. The kettle and coffee maker were appreciated as well as the cutlery, dishes, and pots and pans. For a small space, it is well designed. There is a safe in the closet if you want one. Easy walk to the museum and archaeology park.

Very low water pressure. The bidet was functionally useless, although it looked great. Looks like a new room as there was still construction dust on the walls. The closet had bars for hanging clothes that require a reacher bar to get a hanger up there. For a short person such as myself, the bars were useless and not worth the gymnastics required to secure my clothing. It seems like there are a few kinks the owners can iron out with feedback. Like a complimentary bottle of wine but no corkscrew.

Amazing, even better than the pictures. Very clean and modern. We got water and wine too! And a great location - a short walk to Ortigia.
