One Bed Holiday Home in the Heart of Inverness

In the centre of Inverness. Adam (host) was very patient with all our emails regarding trying to get the keys.

This has nothing to do with the property but with my lack of research and rushing to book accommodation. My husband and I are mature and easily confused with GPS (too trusting) and key boxes that need a code. Not knowing Inverness, arriving late and the GPS took us to number 2 not 18, poor Adam via email was trying his best to help us. When we finally got into the building there was five flights of stairs to negotiate with luggage while the car was illegally parked in a one way street. Then trying to find a car park that we wouldn’t get fined. Once all this was sorted we could relax and enjoy this beautiful city.

The facilities were excellent and very well set out. Very clean. Great location in the city centre.

As someone said in an earlier review, the entrance from the street into the lobby and stairs up to the apartment isn’t especially inviting. But then you get into the apartment and it is worth the wait. I think the apartment will shortly need a refresh of some paintwork.

We had a car so had to park quite a way away. Also, we found the ground floor entrance a little difficult to find. The stair well is a bit dingy but the apartment was great once we got there.

Mooie accomodatie, op een steenworp afstand van het treinstation. Goed voorzien, keuken was klein maar had alle nodige voorzieningen en keukengerei.

Er zijn twee behoorlijke trappen omhoog voordat je je appartement in komt. Ook is het even uitzoeken welke sleutel voor welke deur is.

Practically none Only since it is hospitality services , fully faceless some times gives lack of confidence in guests. However it was managed well

We had an issue with the property manager at check-in but otherwise appartment was very comfortable and well taken care off; cleaning lady did excellent job after our check-in.

After we had paid via Booking we were demanded to upload our credit card details and passport -on the penalty of cancellation- to enable the property to charge a security deposit; we feel uncomfortable/unsafe with this procedure; we would have been happy to pay a deposit ourselves. Communication with management could have been better and more professional Windows need urgent cleaning
