K wave Guesthouse Only Female in Hongdae 1

Location and helpful staff.

There are 20 beds, 2 toilets, 2 sinks (one is a kitchen sink). However, I didn't wait to use the toilet or sink during my stay. The bathroom is extremely tiny.

Great location. Close to subway and to some cool bars/Hongdae bars if you want to go out. Easy check in info given by hostel and very clear instructions on how to get to the location. Nice to have free breakfast with cereal/tea/instant coffee/toast. Met quite a few lovely people in common area.

Could do with a proper deep clean/given a good scrub. Privacy in bedrooms was good but got very hot even in winter, even opening windows didn’t help v much.

洗澡不是很方便，位置很小。

Curtain, socket and electric blanket at each bed. Unlimited towels provided. Quietness.

Basically, anyone can enter this hostel because the entrance of the building is always open and the passcode of the door of the hostel is written on the check-out paper on the door. Bathroom was a bit run down but ok.

The privacy of my bed😍 it was so comfortable,and also the guy at the reception was so gentle.

The showers are a little bit small,but they re okay👍 😊

I've stayed all my life in hostels, so I do know what it means to stay in them. But this one was by far the WORST HOSTEL I have ever stayed in. Like everything here was absolutely bad. Its 4 dorms with each 8, 6 and 4 beds. So in total it must be around more than 20 beds. 2 SHOWERS but you can only really use one if you dont want to be fully exposed naked!!!!!! 2 TOILETS. The shower is impossible to shower, I'm used to small showers in asia, but this one has 0 privacy. You cannot lock the door, people just walk in and get ready in front of the dirty mirror where I'm right next to it naked trying to shower. You cannot close the shower curtain because it is extremely tiny and absolutely dirty. You get fully exposed. A girl tried to pass me to get to the other half of the shower, BOTH NAKED. So she walked out and waited cause she felt super uncomfortable too. For the 2 toilets you have to leave the main area and go to where the elevator is and enter through curtain to be able to go to the toilet. IMPOSSIBLE AND WAY TOO EXPENSIVE FOR THIS.. i was also super unlucky with the people in my room they were all being loud until 3.30 in the morning. Which isn't the hostels fault, just unlucky. But in general a super weird hostel, not social at all and everything there is dirty. This was absolutely horrible and I will never come back. Please dont stay there!!!!!
