Monaco Motel - Wildwood Beach & Boardwalk

First given a roomed that wasn't prepared after previous checkedout then switched to a room with no working heat

I booked and paid for two nights. Checked in Saturday afternoon slept good went on a 12 hour fishing trip Sunday looked forward to a hot shower and food I already had in my refrigerator. Returned to rooftop find my sheet set blanket and two pillows ( I always carry with me to use on any bed that is not my own) were not on bed and not in room. Looked in refrigerator to find food I had purchased while traveling around town to take home and a sandwich I was hoping to eat was also missing. Asked at office where my things went I was told housekeeping must have removed it and there was nothing they could do they also would inform management the next day. Walking around outside very angry I happened to see my sheets blanket pillows in trash cans No food no half case of beer. Fin I decided I was leaving and driving two hours back to my home a day early. After talking to motel people again explaining my anger and disappointment. E mailed messaged and tried to call today a number of times to get reimbursed for my loss of property and second night’s stay only to get no response. 😡

Liked the convenient location. Will use the location again in the future. Could use some up grading

The staff were very nice people, but the building is old, with a very narrow set of stairs to the 2nd floor covered in semi-loose carpet that can make you trip. The door only had the door knob lock (the deadbolt was painted over and the key didn't work) and the safety latch was missing the part that attaches to the door). Stained mattress, tiny bathroom, scratched up, cheap, unmatched furniture, and garbage on display in front of the extremely limited parking. No in-room phone, only 1 lamp for the entire room, no 24-hour staff (office closes at 11pm). I won't stay here again.

Staff not friendly

By far the worst hotel I’ve stayed at. Sink was falling off the wall. Toilet wouldn’t flush unless you were sitting on it. Tiles were missing on the bathroom wall. The beds were both taco’d in the center. The main door wouldn’t lock on the dead bolt. I also did not give my keys to the hotel to have access to my vehicle, thought it was a bad idea then. Still think it’s a bad idea. So have fun paying 25$ to park overnight across the street.
