Chiado Best Place To Be

It's very spacious apartment with microwave and mini fridge. The location is central to sightseeing, food and close to transport.

There is no elevator to bring luggage to the 3rd level. The staircase is very narrow and not safe for elderly or disabled. The apartment get very hot in the summer without air conditioning. I had to plea and beg the owner Miguel to bring us electric fans. He brought them 5 hours later but they were small only good for nightstand. The bathroom is tiny with signs of rust, staining. The owner didn't leave extra towels. No bathroom floor mat or extra toilet paper

Perfect position, nice flat, nice owner.

The bathroom and the kitchen are a bit old and would look better with a refresh, but alll in all are ok.

I had one of the worst accommodation experiences of my life staying at this place in Lisbon. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that cleanliness was not a priority. The entire space was dusty, poorly maintained, and felt neglected. The bed was particularly disturbing, with sheets that had visible stains, including what appeared to be blood — completely unacceptable for any accommodation. The bathroom was in equally bad condition, with water coming up from the main drain, creating both a hygiene issue and a very unpleasant smell. Basic amenities were also severely lacking. There was only one roll of toilet paper for six people, which is simply unreasonable. The kitchen setup was poor — there was no espresso machine or coffee maker, only a stovetop coffee pot that took around 20 minutes just to serve two people. There were no face towels provided, only bath towels. The only positive aspect was the presence of an electronic lock, which made access slightly more convenient. Overall, the apartment felt dirty, uncomfortable, and far below any acceptable standard. I strongly advise others to avoid staying here, as it significantly impacted my trip in a negative way.
