Great location

The family room was great but the double room was in a sort of annex and didn’t have a window

I arrived early so I contacted the management to try and arrange an earlier check in. They got back to me very quickly and said the room was ready for me, which I very much appreciated, thank you Elle. The property couldn't be more central and was very very close to all of the harbour amenities. There was a fridge in the room and fresh milk along with ground coffee and a cafetierre with real sugar in a jar and tea bags.

The property could do with some TLC and the shower head leaked more water than it sprayed. That said it's central location would suit many people as long as they are able to climb a few steps.

Elle was extremely helpful - answered my query promptly. The room was comfortable and clean. The location is great. The breakfast was delicious.

The room was a little small. It was expensive to stay at Kota Kai.

Schönes Zimmer sehr zentral.

Leider gibt es nur eine Schlüsselbox und keinen persönlichen Kontakt. Die Restaurants waren beide geschlossen.

Great for an overnight stay , excellent location Typically small room but had everything you need and great coffee

Noisy venue near by

This was our second stay at Kota, the first time we had the seaview apartment, which was slightly larger and more expensive. This room was smaller, and reflected in the cheaper price. The location is superb, the rooms were clean and warm. Lovely.

Porthleven is such a pretty part of Cornwall (I was lucky enough to grow up here) and Kota couldn’t have a better location. The Emma mattress was soooooo comfy. Lovely soft fluffy towels and nice high end toiletries. A large bottle of water and cold milk in the mini fridge was a nice touch.

A lick of paint is required in room 2. Water pressure was low in the shower. Neither of these are deal breakers and we’d come again for sure.
