AJ's Place Beach Resort

Two minute walk to the whale sharks. Wonderful staff. Mango sticky rice and coffee for breakfast was a welcome surprise bonus. Reasonably priced beers for a sunset drink in the cabana.

Very close and walking distance to the Whale Shark Attraction we can see the boats from our hotel.

Beautiful spot. Close to whale swim. Great staff, very helpful. Room looking out to the water was excellent.

Everything was great

In Philippines we stayed in around 10 different hotels, this one was definitely the most clean, the location is great if you want to do the whale watching, is in front of the hotel. I have to mention the smell in the room was amazing, super clean.

The only issue we had was the communication about the transfer on the check out. The only option we had was to pay 1000 pesos to go to the port which was maximum 10 minutes by car (for me was the most expensive transfer) a part from that the hotel was incredibly beautiful.

AJ's Place Beach Resort is a great place to hang out. Few room, excellent waterfront and chill out seating areas outside It is conveniently located especially if you are doing the Whale Shark encounter. Located just 3 mins walk away. Has a great ambience if you are out at night. Good if you want to walk out from the waterfront to snorkel. The room is perfect, large ensuite and has a fantastic view of the ocean from the balcony. The staff were fantastic and accommodating. Spoke to one of the owners 'A' (sorry as I could not recall her name) on a call and managed to get my problem with transportation resolved with her help

Food places were limited. The restaurant beside was not open when we were there. So the next place that we would be willing to venture into was a good 10 min walk away and has a limited menu and pretty average food.

Great location near whale shark swim, clean comfortable rooms, friendly happy staff.

Short power outage in the night, caused room to get warm and woke us up, but fortunately did not last long.

The staff were really helpful, and the location is superb. It’s just a one-minute walk to the whale shark watching area. The place is very clean.

The only downside is that the roosters start crowing very early in the morning, and they can be quite loud.
