CasaViva - Loft fronte mare a Santa Margherita

I probably would not have stayed if i knew there would be construction in front of the building along with the noise and the construction blocking our view. It would have been nice if we were allowed to use the patio... The construction workers were also able to view straight into our room and the bathroom as there are no curtains. Otherwise it was great distance from the station and really clean.

The location is excellent (beachfront), very close to shops and restaurants as well as the pier. The flat feels spacious and could have a great view ( construction underway right in front).

Asked for an early check-in in advance and on the day of arrival. We were told "we'll let you know" for 5 hours. Even if it was a "not possible", a straight answer would've helped us manage our time better, particularly as we were travelling with a sick toddler. The matress on the bed was overused and lumpy. The furniture was overall low quality, mismatched, and made the place feel second rate.

Excellent location for the train, beach and city center. Located in a beautiful building on the first floor with stairs and elevator option. Ceiling fans were a pleasant feature! Everything was clean and tidy.

Uncomfortable bed and pillows. Fully stocked apartment in terms of appliances, but no food offered, not even a bottle of water or coffee! At night, sounds of the nightlife directly outside the windows are loud, which can be bothersome to light sleepers. Pro/con: no personal contact for check-in/out. Some people might like this aspect. However, be prepared to receive 5+ emails and messages from the Casaviva entity. Weird policy about timely check-out and guests' trash removal upon leaving, including a 50€ penalty threat!

Very difficult to contact anyone on arrival. Left waiting outside with luggage after long flight till someone finally responded to the many texts, emails and phone calls. Apartment is located directly above a bar that is very busy at night and has LOUD music till after midnight. Apartment has no air conditioning and only fans. Very uncomfortable with the current hot weather. Unable to open windows due to the noise and music.

The location was great! Unfortunately, the apartment sits above a bar that blares the music from 9:30pm until 3am. It had music sirens going off several times per hour. The bar was basically a night club and we did not sleep for the 2 nights we were there. We notified the rental company and their response was basically “it’s a central location and if the music is too loud, then here is the phone number to call the police” The apartment isn’t sound proof and is on the first floor… above the bar/night club.

We were there in the beginning of June and we had the A/C up as high as it would go… the unit was still hot. My husband recorded the loud thumping music. I lived in Chicago on Rush street… and this was louder than any night in Chicago. The decibels from the music and sirens were absolutely ridiculous!! The speakers were basically 10’ from our window.

Very nice place in typical style, very central, few minutes walking from the train station, the harbour, shops and right in front of the beach.

Just below the apartment there is a bar which had really loud music on Friday and Saturday night until about midnight. Internet did not work.

Very modern and nice apartment. Fully equipped. Location is very practical. At the back is a garage operated by an elderly friendly couple.

Unfortunately there was a building site just opposite, so there was noise early in the morning, once at 5am.
