Luna Lodge with Hot Tub

The hotel tub was great lodge was large and really nice lay out 👌

Not much near by but not to far from York to drive in roughly 20 mins

Lodge is beautifully presented and in a fab position with a lovely view. We loved the hot tub which was ready on arrival as we requested. Had a relaxing few days and really didn’t want to leave, would definitely return.

The size of the lodge was good for 5 of us. It was nice certain amenities were ready for us such as hand soap and fairy liquid.

We were highly disappointed that the hot tub stopped working after the first night. We only booked for 2 days and it totally spoilt the experience. My daughters were so upset. We only booked the lodge for the hot tub so for it to be cold on day 2 was so upsetting. They also told us that it couldn’t be fixed until the following morning which was no good to us given our length of stay. Upon arrival we found crisps and sweet packets left behind in one of the bedrooms. There was dog hair on one of the beds as if a it had been used by a dog to sleep on. The cushions on the outdoor furniture were soaking wet so we could not use them at all. The blind was broken in the same room as the rubbish and the dog hair. The microwave was not displaying the correct display so was difficult to gauge. Although a nice looking lodge on the surface there were too many issues to make it value for money. The TV signal was also very poor and kept going off. The lady on reception was so lovely and all she could do was to keep apologising to us but this was no good as it didn’t change anything. Having paid a lot of lonely for a 2 night stay with poor facilities I would definitely not recommend this lodge.

Very clean and modern with great amenities in the lodge. Hot tub was warm and ready to use.

There isn’t much to do on the site - we went to the driving range and for a drink on site but not much else going on so we walked to the local village for food and drinks where there was more happening

Great value for money. Spacious and well decorated, great facilities and Al amenities for a full weekend away.

En-suite shower didn’t work. No one came to check hot tub so the water ran low and wasn’t warm on the second day.

Hot Tub

The Lodge is extremely run down. Stains on. Every piece of furniture. Food Marks left on cushions and bottom of the sofa. Bedroom Pillows had white marks all over them and used cigarette found under the bed. Not Clean at all! Customer service as a whole was so bad. Lock box for the lodge left open after a clean was requested. Not a great break at all. Spent most of my break in Reception complaining.
