hairdryer was broken, not much towels provided, lacks toiletries

This is a great little property close to the downtown area and also very close to the cruise terminal (we actually walked there!). This is a perfect place to stay for a night before a cruise or even just to visit Southampton for the day.

We stayed at this property with our Baby, the place was perfect. Immaculately clean, well equipped and in a brilliant location. Quick walk into the city centre. Fantastic little place, will be staying again for sure.

The locking system is good. The location was good for what we wanted even though there are a few down and outs hanging around.

Where do I start?! BEWARE! I don’t know how others have said that it was clean. The sofa and rugs are all stained. The cushions are so worn. The window sill in the bedroom had a layer of dust and dirty Cup marks. The plants were all dead and the window did not open. The floor fan was covered in a layer of greasy dust. The large cupboard in the bedroom that is shown as open and possible storage is padlocked shut. The other cupboard has old paint tins in it. The hairdryer did not work. And the ‘rubbish’ in the wardrobe also has a layer of dust. The bathroom is different to the picture and the shower is a ‘rain’ one and doesn’t have much power. The towels are not big enough to wrap around even the smallest of bodies and can barely be called towels they are so thin. (No hand towel provided. The extract fan is clogged with matted dust.The kitchen sponge was filthy. My daughter slept on the sofa bed where a bottom sheet was not provided. The pillow cases are grey where they were once white and I’m not even sure the quilt cover has been washed. It’s such a shame the flat could be really nice.

Good location and had everything you need

Property was fine but may be handy to have extra items such as sponges or dish cloths. Used a dish cloth to clean a spilt drink on the table and then had nothing to dry dishes with the next morning
