1 bedroom modern duplex

The location is superb, centrally based in Southampton. Easy to get to and easy to get into property.

Every single item of bedding was dirty, there was blood stains on a pillow, human bodily fluids on other stuff, smelled as if it hadn’t been washed for weeks and used by many others. Property although in a good location was very loud and all you can hear is screaming in the streets. Sofa bed was not comfy. Towels smelt, and wasn’t enough towels per person.

well-stocked kitchen with basic necessities (teabags, coffee, sugar, etc), appliances were ready to be used and the property has a large fridge for storage. bed and sofa bed was big enough to accommodate 4 people.

informative labels on contents in the fridge would be helpful for international travellers (first aid ice packs not to be consumed), a toilet mat would also be great if it was provided, wifi was down momentarilly but came back up shortly.

Nice apartment, with good facilities. Had everything you needed, having a Sonos is great too!

Overall it was clean, but the sofa bed could do with replacing… it looked rather dirty.

Location

Access of 1sr grey door requires manual. After visit cleaner reported that we did damage, but this damage was already there.

Ease of access to ferry port and value for money

Needs a mat in the shower tray. We couldn’t alter the blind on the staircase as none of us could reach it. And we were one bath towel short. Not sure how the bedroom lights worked.

The instructions to get in were very good. The room was very nicely appointed, they did a very nice job of the conversion!! We really liked the location as it was close to the bus and all kinds of ammenities are very close by!!

Although communication with the owner was a little difficult, as I did not have a phone, we finally got things organized. There was a Birthday Party next door that went on for a long time, no fault to the owner but think it should be communicated that music that is that loud is imposing on the neighbors.
