Elegant flat in the city centre with two suite

This apartment is in a very old building in the historic district. Its 100% recently renovated in austere modern style, but in a quirky ancient space. We liked that the street is active neighborhood and the other apartments are filled with locals, so we got a sense of daily life. This apartment has two nice bedrooms with their own baths on the quiet side of the building and a living room, plus another bath, so no waiting for the bathroom even if six couples! Kitchen has a washer & dishwasher. Equipped for very minimal cooking, but with all the tavernas, osterias, ristorantes, etc just a minute or two away, cooking is hardly necessary. We did appreciate the Co-op market just a two minute walk away for groceries. Bedrooms have charming view of rooftops and steeples with church bell ambiance. Host, once we figured out WhatsApp, was very responsive.

You have to be tech savvy: to unlock the front door you need an app on your phone (although host did have a key left by maid the second day for one of us w/o a phone), you also need to contact host through WhatsApp and be prepared to send your passport info via text to a total stranger in order to be get the door-unlocking app. This level of tech is not for everyone. Also this apartment is on the top floor, lots of flights of stairs, plus it has many small floor level changes within the apartment even in the bathrooms, which could be dangerous for those with poor balance. One bathroom has a sewer pump that is startlingly loud, so we avoided that bathroom.

A wonderful and comfortable apartment in the historic center of Perugia. Our host Dante was very helpful, providing all relevant information well ahead of our visit and stayed in touch whenever we needed him. Rooms are spacious, beds comfortable. Having three bathrooms was a bonus. Kitchen is fully equipped. Most importantly, the location is unmatched. You can reach all major attractions of Perugia within a 5 minute walk from the apartment.

While wonderful this is not a place for older visitors. No elevator. Apartment is on a high third floor, reachable after climbing five flights of narrow stairs. Also, paid parking nearby is very expensive.

It’s not accessible if you can’t walk up or down stairs and one of the bedrooms didn’t have blinds which made it a bit difficult to keep that room cool

Everything! ❤️ The Apartment was super clean with beautiful interiors. Three air conditioners for the main rooms (in each bedroom & kitchen). It is a 2 bedroom with 3 washrooms! Owners gave us instructions on how to use everything - so it was very easy. If you needed anything they were happy to accommodate. We would definitely recommend this property 👍🏻

Nothing. What I will say is that there is no elevator so you will need to walk up several stairs to reach apartment.

The location was exceptional, in the heart of the Perugia old town, minutes from the National Gallery, from wonderful cafes and restaurants, the Fontana Maggiore and the MiniMetro. Believe me, the MiniMetro is brilliant, invaluable and makes the week away so much easier for transport links. This modern flat was exactly as I expected, with beautiful bedrooms, lovely views, a fully-equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge and everything we could need for a week away in historic Perugia. The building was charming, on a quiet street and our host couldn't have been more helpful, with lots of information about the city and region, helpful guidance about the flat and always available. Staying here was the perfect and easy choice and honestly, we couldn't have been happier. Incredible value for money. Five stars to Dante! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

If you have any walking difficulties then the three flights of stairs may be a little tricky, but with time and patience the walk to a lovely flat is worth it.
