Ocean Sunrise at the Sails - Durban point waterfront

The property is conveniently located and close to the beachfront and nearby attractions. The unit was clean, and the check-in process was smooth. Overall, it provided a comfortable stay for the duration of our visit.

The unit requires some maintenance. The cupboard had a noticeable damp smell, the space felt too small for two beds, and the fridge appears to be old and in need of replacement. The shower in the main bedroom did not have a door, resulting in water splashing all over the bathroom floor. While the stay was acceptable, the unit would benefit from some upgrades and general maintenance.

The fact the I had to phone the owner on the day of the booking just to find out it is cancelled. It was the weekend of comrades, all other accommodation were fully book. Not happy and dont think this property should be on bookings.com

Wifi did not work. Contacted hosts 1 ste evening and he never got back to us during our 4 day stay. A lot of maintenance that needs to be done

Location is good

poor maintenance. Fridge didnt work. No wifi, no water (and when they resolved the water, there was no hot water). broken shower door, broken cabinet doors. Booked a king size bed but there was only a double bed. apartment is for 4 people but there were only 3 plates. some plug points don't work. No thought or maintenance on the premises. Extremely expensive for what you get.
