The Wharfe - Cosy, comfortable retreat

Had everything you needed and more ,milk,crumpets,butter jam and bits for your dogs ,lovely walking and pub across the road

Nothing to dislike

Location,good facilities, flexible allowing for two dogs. Very clean.

Only minor things. Could have done with a few more tea towels and radiator on just for a bit to dry towels.

The location was great, with plenty of walks straight from the door. The pub was just across the road and was great for food and drink. The kitchen in the property was great if you wanted to prepare meals yourselves and was very well kitted out, with a good welcome pack of milk, bread and even treats for our dog.

This has nothing to do with the property, which was lovely, but the parking is limited......this is mentioned by the host on their web information. The roads are quite narrow and not really convenient for parking on. We parked in a National Park car park in the village....about 100m away from the property. We were pleasantly surprised at how reasonably priced this was and it meant that we could just park up and forget about the car for the length of our stay.

Brilliant location, great communication, hospitality and advice from hosts Richard and Vicky, cracking pub opposite serving good food and drinks. Beautiful walks with stunning scenery. A top stay.

Lovely cosy place in a beautiful surroundings. Very detailed information how to get there and get in. We haven’t met people who own property but I was receiving very warm and helpful messages on booking

Pavement slaps not in level, they going up with house and in dark I could see when reversed car so it scratched my wheel a bit ( no serious damage)

Left us milk crumpets and butter jam plus tea which was nice plus location lovely across road there pub which does great food
