Quarry Cottage near Hawes, Yorkshire Dales, Pet free

Sehr schönes und gemütliches traditionelles Cottage. Blitzblank sauber, hochwertige Küchengeräte, bequeme Betten, tolle Dusche. Die Lage ist ruhig und idyllisch, etwas abseits von Hawes, mit schönen Wanderwegen direkt vor der Haustür. Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und erfüllen jeden Wunsch.

There wasn't anything we didn't like

Very comfortable property in a quaint hamlet near Hawes. Tasteful modern decor in a historic stone building. Well equipped unit, and immaculately clean. Comfortable beds and furnishings. Excellent location for touring the Yorkshire Dales, and nearby Hawes has all necessary services just minutes away. Owners have thoughtfully equipped the cottage with many books on hiking/walking in the Dales.

This is our second stay in Quarry Cottage and it was every bit as good as our first visit a few months ago. The cottage is comfortable and well furnished. Everything feels new and is well looked after and clean. We love all the little touches in this cottage that make our visit special, Dales themes ornaments and crockery, little fairly lights, books and information about the area. Very comfy beds and a great power shower. We didn't really use the kitchen apart from the fridge but is all looks clean and new. A great place to stay with fan hosts who respond to any messages very quickly.

The property adjoining was being worked on and was a bit noisy but not the fault of the cottage. The lady across the road was quite grumpy about us parking even though it was only for a few minutes to unpack. Non of this the fault of Quarry Cottage and there was not anything we didn't like. Love the place and hope to be back again soon.

Beautifully maintained & lovely homely finishing touches

Lovely property in a great location for us. The property was comfortable and had everything we needed. Excellent communication from the hosts. I'd book again.

We loved the cottage and the care that had been taken to make it a special place. The quality of the furnishings and fittings was excellent as were all the little details that were so thoughtful. We loved the log fire although to be fair the cottage was lovely and cosy without it but it was so nice to sit in front of after being out all day. The cottage felt and looked like it had been recently decorated and refurbed as everyting seemed new. It was a lovely surprise to have such a nice place to stay. The lock box was really handy as it did not matter if we were running late on arrival.

It was't the easiest to unload as you had to park up elsewhere after loading but not too far away. We managed, it was only an issue when we were loading to go home and it co-incided with people going to work etc and we were in the way a bit for other cars either parked up or trying to get passed. But people were very nice and we got off home with no problems.
