It’s so peaceful , probably the best nights sleep I’ve ever had. The lodge itself was so lovely, really well thought out and had everything you could possibly need. Very comfortable bed and wonderful underfloor hearing which was much appreciated in winter time.

It’s a fair walk into the centre of Helmsley but that didn’t bother me, it actually was really nice walk in the mornings but older people or people with disabilities will need to keep this in mind. Parking is available right outside the lodge if you do decide to drive.

A Hidden Gem!! Stayed here for a couple of nights with my son. Has everything you could need. Makes you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere but yet only a 25min walk into Helmsley. Great communication from Laura before our stay! Really relaxing and had the best nights sleep! Will definitely be booking again.
