Room needs a little TLC

proximity of location, very nice apartment, beautiful view and everything very close to where we needed and wanted to go, uber/ scooters accessible everywhere.

not being able to contact property manager as the phone number has not been updated, on arrival their was a foul smell once out of the lift through the entire floor of the apartment which scented mist sprayers through the floor would be a pleasant entry and minor scuffs, damages noticeable marks were not mentioned.

It was central to a lot of amenities

Drains smelt bad, windows weren't clean, beds weren't comfortable

The stunning views of the Auckland skyline. Cosy and comfortable appartement in the city centre of Auckland. Good and esay communication with the service team.

Nothing which is worth to mention

The main bathroom also operates as an ensuite to the second bedroom which was nice. Basically both rooms have their own ensuite. View of Town Hall was lovely.

Firstly, the address the host sent us for for the locked box was different from the actual property address so I had a panic thinking it wasn't the correct location for what I had booked - but it was actually a different entrance on the other side of the block. It's a bit of a rabbit warren inside the building with different lifts taking you out different points. A little map or explanation in the apartment would have been helpful. Secondly, it was also annoying not having a second set of keys. Despite asking on numerous occasions, the host never replied to this request. With two bedrooms and two independent travellers it was really hard to manage as you need the fob on the key to get up the lift so you couldn't simply leave the key in the lockbox. Finally, we had an issue with the dishwasher. After the first use, the door wouldn't open. The host's response was inadequate and after that one response she wouldn't respond again. So we had no coffee cups and limited crockery and cutlery for the majority of our stay. I had to buy two mugs just so we could have tea! Again, a small problem that could have been sorted by a responsive host. I also think it's worth pointing out that right now in Auckland there is a huge amount of road works going on and this happens virtually throughout the whole night. I don't think the apartment has double glazing and even though it is on level 15 my friend, who was sleeping in the front room, found this noise intolerable. It kept her awake most nights. I didn't have this trouble as I was in the second room which has no window to the outside world (just a glass wall looking into the apartment). I should point out that the glass wall does have blinds, but is not terrible sound proof from internal noise in the apartment and light coming in from the kitchen/dining area.
