SPINDLE COTTAGE - Riverside cottage on the edge of the Peak District

This was a cute and quiet location which was great because we were looking to get out of London. I really appreciated the communication with the host. It was a great price with great amenities. Loved the tub.

I thought the couch was bigger than a love seat but we still had a good movie night on it. The bed was too stiff for me.

No garden. Had to remove plug in air fresheners as toxic to dogs

The location was excellent close enough to town to walk but far enough to be out the hustle and bustle. Good parking straightforward straight outside the house. Had all the amenities at the property, done up to a very good standard. Host was quick to reply with a query about the hob. Welcome basket was great surprise

Nice walk along the river straight from the house towards Holmfirth so easy if you have a dog. Londis shop 2 minute walk away. 5 minute drive to centre. Reservoirs nearby offer good walks too.
