Private family room in Coronado Luxury Club & Suites

food was good, affordable. It is not a "luxury" hotel anymore, but its ok for short stays.

Lovely pools. We could get a reservation.

Dirty pealing walls, no cups for water, no coffee machine, crazy loud vent in the bathroom.

Pool and restaurants, hotel is not crowded

a bit far from the beach, but the hotel offers a free shuttle to the beach club.

The location and staff were great.

The process for paying and check in was difficult. The receptionist was helpful but had to call the owner management to get us checked in. We could have check in at the hotel cheaper and a better room. But since We used Booking I felt we should work through the issues. The room was the bare minimum, 3 towels with one hand towel, one TP roll, no wash cloths, pillow were bad. It was easy to see just enough to get by. The hotel had no ice machines, but you could pay $2 for a bag (like from a 7/11 store) with no where to put it. (We used the shower) The mini fridge didn’t work well. Anything paid for at the hotel had to paid by credit card so the $2 ice was CC purchase. Now having stayed there We would have been better going directly through the hotel. Booking should explain you are renting a room at a club, but not a member and have to wear a bright fluorescent wrist band. Just not sure I would use Booking again.

The front desk attendant was nice. We had no opportunity to see and rate anything else given that we left upon seeing the room.

The room had cockroaches in the fridge and bed. We left a few minutes after arriving when we discovered the roaches and left the key at the front desk. We informed the suite owner what happened and received no response, no offer for a refund, not even an apology.
