The waste from the toilet came up into the shower and the shower tray filled with toilet waste

Only that there were kitchen essentials i.e oven

It smelt of ammonia the entire time, in every room and the smell did not disappear.

There was a terrible smell for the duration of our stay. It smelt like cats urine in the building and by the second day it unfortunately made it in to our room. We had to keep the windows open which resulted in very little sleep due to the face T we were on the main road side. No communication from whoever runs the place as we tried to see if we could have the downstairs room which we had stayed in before and I was recovering from an operation and yet I eneded up on the top floor. This trip was for me to relax after what I have been through and yet we were not able to achieve this. Very unfortunate.

Entrance hall doors. Fiercely sprung....

Very central location and quiet. Very comfortable bed and room clean and modern.

Normal check in after 5pm is a bit late and inconvenient given there is no parking with property. Bathroom facilities clean and comprehensive but probably need updating compared to room. Exterior of property a little tired.

Awesome location for a v short walk into Ambleside centre. On street parking ( with a local free parking disc. ) right opposite. Quiet. Spacious. Very comfy bed with lovely crisp white bedding. Large lcd to on wall.

Felt a bit like a bed sit with a kitchenette in same room as the bed. Really random signs in bathroom which would be like you’d find in a man cave / garage etc - I quite liked them (i.e. old motor advertising signs with foxy ladies posing on/near vehicles for oil/fuel companies type things) Mrs not so keen. Lovely espresso coffee machine which couldn’t use - no coffee - only discover on reading room guidance booklet no coffee provided and guest need to source their own?!? This info. Would be helpful in advance.

We would have preferred instructions for key collection a few days before we arrived not on the day . It is worrying when you don’t have any contact until the day you travel

shower was abit weak, temperature was decent just lack of power
