Dagbreek Cottages

We were warmly greeted and treated like family. We even went to their church bazaar. Chrisma and Hennie were gracious hosts and put lovely goodies in the room and supplied great Braai fixings for dinners. The room was cozy and beautifully decorated. Loved the sound of running water and enjoying a nightly fire. Very close to the Orange River.

Hosts very considerate and helpful. Most welcome home-made soup provided unexpectedly. A lovely outdoor area for warmer weather. Beautiful trees and interesting farm location.

Just one thing - nice decor, but pillows on bed not comfortable for us. A bit too fat and hard for head to rest upon.

A beautiful cottage with lots of attention to detail. Two ice cold beers awaited us on arrival, juice, coffee pods, biscuits all for us to enjoy. The bed and bedding so comfortable. We felt loved and at home. Defnitely a gem waiting to be discovered.

Cute little cottage, the host is very attentive and provided all the necessities and little nice-to-haves like teas, coffees, milk, rusks, filtered water in the room, fire wood set up outside, patio swing with all the pillows ready to relax and make it super comfortable from arrival. The bathroom has lots of space for bags and toiletries and there are enough cupboards in the room for long stay. We will definitely be back here again.

The host was extremely friendly and welcoming and even treated us to some freshly baked banana bread.
