We’ve been staying at this hotel for over 10 years now and while it has had its ups and downs over the years, we never experienced bad staff behaviour. The check in guy at the reception made our stay horrible. First, he took very long to check us in and when he did he gave us the wrong room type. When I confronted him about this, he gave us another room which was identical to the first room and still not the correct room type. After reminding him that we are long term guests here and know their room types, he begrudgingly gave us the correct room. The whole saga wasted 30-40 minutes of what precious time we had left during our only evening in Bangalore. It delayed every subsequent plan of ours and we couldn’t do a couple of things which was very annoying. We had an early morning flight and when we decided to checkout, it took 25 mins to checkout because the front desk guy who had allocated us the wrong rooms hadn’t signed us out from the wrong room, so we were going to be charged for both rooms. This took a few frantic calls from the night staff to the front desk guy to finally sort it out. And when that was sorted, their payment card machine didn’t work. Unbelievably frustrating! We managed to make a UPI payment and left. As for the hotel itself. despite the exterior renovation, the rooms are still dated. There’s no hot water once it’s past morning. It’s a shame. This was (and is) such a lovely property with a location that can put the best of 5-star hotels to shame. If only they fixed their service snags, upgrade the property, and hire competent people like they had in the past, it could do really well. As for us, we probably won’t be returning. A shame again because we have been visiting nearly every year for over a decade and we’ve now run out of patience with all their issues.

The staff is courteous and polite. Always ready to help whenever required.

Hotel is Good and convenient but on the day of check in I reached hotel by 12 Am, and I was told that your booking has been shifted to some other hotel due to over booking, so I really got annoyed and shown them the confirmation also, though after some time I got the room but it was really irritating as I was waited for 15 mms just for Nothing.

This was my first visit to this hotel. It is centrally located on the Race course Road, surrounded by greenery. Polite staff. quick and friendly response by reception and room service. They serve you free break fast which is very sumptuous. In house. Restaurant "Aroma of South" is good in taste of food and service. Room interior is nice. They need to improve bathroom cleanliness. Common space outside the rooms for seating is good. Also it is very easy to get auto rickshaw or taxi for local transport. It is value for money I have decided to visit the same hotel very time I visit Bangalore.

Very courteous staff. Quick check-in and very clean rooms. Overall a pleasant stay. This was our first visit and we have no regrets choosing this hotel

Excellent customer service. Centrally located.Near to the main markets and places of tourist interest. Helpfulness of the staff very couterous. Good value for money very neat and clean, sufficiently big rooms, prompt service.

First off the staff needs some training, here are some free tips to improve the customer service. Do not take more than 5 minutes to check-in the customer. Have the reservation ready before the customer arrives. DO NOT forget to give the wifi login credentials. When the customer drops the key at the reception, DO NOT lose it. If you keep complimentary water, make sure it is of good quality and not funky tasting. Improve the quality of complimentary breakfast. Keep clean utensils. For the price of the room I expected better food and variety. Finally the room itself needs a lot of renovation. Also make the checkout process faster, do not make the customer wait.
