Nice pool, nice location

I literally found bed bugs in my bed. I even took one of the bugs that was still alive down to the front desk, and they only offered to switch my room. Zero concern, zero apology, and zero compensation.

"This is the place to stay for a home away from home experience"

There were things for breakfast that anyone could eat. Waffles, eggs, sausage links, oatmeal, etc. something for everyone. The room was more than expected as there were 2 private bedrooms, a sitting/TV area and a kitchenette on top of a large bathroom. It was a wonderful space that we used to wait out the winter storm.

The staffs in GrandStay Hotel in Ames is in a very good location for public transport access and the staffs are friendly.

The breakfast is with very limited options. Additionally the room rate was expensive when I extended beyond the duration I booked with booking.com.
