La Héraudière Bed & Breakfast

The owners were very attentive and friendly. The property has a nice garden to sit down and enjoy the afternoon after a long day visiting wineries. Everything was clean and breakfast was delicious.

Nothing really. It is not located walking distance from downtown, which was not an issue for us but could be inconvenient if you don’t have a car.

Interesting rooms and spacious grounds. Comfortable beds. Very clean and tidy. Good location. Informative host helped with information on Tours and transport links.

Breakfast was very basic although jams good. No cheeses, no cold meats, one type of cereal. Very late access into property at all - secure gate closed so couldn’t park off the crowded one way street until after 5pm. Shower cubicles very small. Low sloping ceilings.

Interesting older property Hosts very welcoming

Garden overgrown and unkempt - not like the photograph. All guests share the same breakfast table, which was slightly awkward with strangers. Rather hushed stifled conversation and strained politeness.

Location was great and the owners are lovely. The breakfast was great.

What a stunning haven just out of town 😍 beautiful home and lovely hosts, one of our best stays.
