We arrived late, so we didn't have long to enjoy the place as much as we would have liked. The staff on arrival were lovely and luckily we got to enjoy a few wind down drinks in the cosy bar before relaxing in our gorgoeus room. Just wish we had longer to enjoy our stay. We plan to come back in December and will be sure to book a breakfast as we didn't this time.

"Excellent peaceful location"

Despite also being a wedding venue, this is an excellent peaceful location in fact the wedding venue was separate to the main building and had its own car park. Staff at this venue super friendly, food excellent and was just perfect for meeting up with friends for dinner. Would definitely recommend

Hotel a real little gem.

Not to say I didn't like it. But you really need a car 🚗 to get there. Nothing near it within walking distance.

Everything! Sam who was Front of House, Pauline who came in early on a Sunday to accommodate an early breakfast before the Great North Run. The food was award winning and the bedrooms were absolutely beautiful and clean with lots of thoughtful added touches.The pictures don't do it justice.One of the best places booked through booking.com.Amazing! Worth a visit!
