Stylish Madison Apartment with Balcony - FREE Car Parking - Hemel Hempstead Town Centre

Very nice property, very well presented and maintained.

Car park was busy with some awful parking blocking multiple spaces. Trying to park an SUV was extremely difficult.

Hospitable host and clean property. The property was clean, with complimentary milk and chocolate provided by the host( so thoughtful). The host responded instantly when we had enquiry. Overall great experience.

This is not the host’s fault. Our car got blocked by someone else such that it took us about 20mins trying to find the person.

Very clean and modern, comfortable and home from home.

Convenient central location, modern, secure, spacious, well-equipped, generally well cleaned and cared for. Staff were extremely responsive and helped with a slightly later checkout we requested. I'm used to a super king firm mattress at home, but the soft single beds far exceeded expectations and were very comfortable. Plenty of hot water.

Minor maintenance needed (curtain rails and shelves coming away from wall). A bit hot for us and heating control didn't seem to fix that. Internet/TV streaming was frustratingly slow on our 2nd night (not the 1st). Cleaning was 9/10 - perfectly acceptable but don't look under the sofa!, and balcony doors could do with some glass cleaner. Entirely beyond the property's control but neighbours having a fairly loud, potty-mouthed barney/psychotic episode at night and also 7.30 on Sunday morning, and the way the balcony is shared/accessible between properties made that feel more uncomfortable than it could have been. All very minor points though and I would 100% recommend a stay.

We stayed overnight as a brief stop off for a trip to London. The apartment was clean, with tea, coffee, sugar and even the long life small milk cartons, not expected but a great bonus. It was a great location for the M1 and travelling through. The rooms where spacious and the balcony was great, giving the option to have some fresh air coming in. The main road was a little noisy at times with buses but this didn't overly bother us.

I assumed the parking was guaranteed but when we arrived all the spaces were full. I rang the owner who promptly phoned me back, there was no voicemail which was a little worrying at first but they phoned back immediately. After a quick discussion it was agreed I could squeeze in the end of the row of other parked cars as I wouldn't be blocking anyone. She did apologise for the inconvenience and it was not clear whether all the vehicles that where parked had a right to be there. Unfortunately another van came sometime after and parked in such a way that I was then causing an obstruction which led to another vehicle owner being quite angry with me, shouting at me as though I had parked their knowingly blocking others in. We had nipped to the shop and it was only by chance that we heard the other vehicle 'honking' as we returned otherwise we would have been none the wiser and he would have been stuck indefinitely. There is no clear way to display which vehicle belongs to which property and lot's of people where double parking blocking others (they may well have known each other and had an arrangement to do so, I do not know) - Of course the gentleman shouting at me is not the owners fault or responsibility but I would think twice before booking again based on the fact I may run in to issues in the small car park again. Which is a shame as the apartment itself and the responses received from the owner where great! The bed I slept on, a trundle didn't have the comfiest mattress, the springs where very noisy and it was rather soft and uncomfortable, that said my mum and daughter slept well in their beds.

Beautiful apartment. Clean. Comfy beds. Everything we needed for a brief one night stay. Very grateful for the fans in the hot weather. Easy entry instructions.

Unfortunately we found, because we had to open all the patio doors due the heat overnight, it was very noisy -with bus and general car noises. But would have been fine if doors closed.

Nice balcony nice place

The flat was very clean and appeared to be recently renovated. It was well equipped and a nice space for the four of us.

It was a great stay, would just be helpful if the auto emails were updated with the most recent door code. :)
