The Bungalow - Ardullie Lodge

Liz was very accommodating, generous and attentive - so many extra touches that made the stay really special. From the freedom to pick vegetables, herbs and fruit from the garden to the fresh eggs and home baked bread the “welcome pack” was a daily bonus. And the location is perfect for exploring the region - which was also made easier and better by Liz’s great recommendations. Can’t recommend this property highly enough!

Really well fitted out, cosy and comfortable in really lovely setting overlooking the water and gardens. Excellent and really friendly host.

The property was set within a small holding with chickens etc. The owner greeted us, went through the facilities on site, gave us fresh baked bread, eggs and her own honey. All delicious! The property looked a little quirky on the outside but was spotless on the inside and had everything you needed and more. The bed was so comfortable so we had a wonderful sleep. We had our dog and the enclosed garden area was perfect for her.

Everything. First of all: the effort made by Liz to make sure I was comfortable, whether it be attention to detail before I arrived, being met by her, and how I was treated whilst there. The bungalow was just right, in every way: privacy, yet close to the road (which could not be seen or heard) & Inverness or Dingwall; warm and comfortable; exceptional facilities; comfortable bed and on & on. Whilst the property appears to be tucked away, it is very easy to find & ideal for NC500 people, or other tourists, or those wanting a restful break.

Such a great location was central to everything we wanted to do. Property was tidy and had everything we needed. Plenty of space for us and our wee dog. Had an enclosed garden for pets which was so handy as our dog loved being outside. Liz was so helpful she recommended plenty of dog friendly things for us to do. She made sure we had enough supplies and was very generous making us her homemade bread which was delicious! Would highly recommend this place to anyone we certainly will be back in the future.

Liz our host was amazing. She gave us homemade bread,eggs from her chickens, honey from her bees and veg from her garden She provided us with information on places to visit . The bungalow was spotlessly clean,well equipped and bed very comfortable. Excellent location and very dog friendly .Loved seeing the geese and chickens Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, hope to return next year.
