Beach View

Great location.

The dining chairs were all loose where the base attached to the bucket seat with some screws left on top of chairs. We spent a long time mending. Very dangerous. Both bbq’s disgusting - full of used ash and coals and beer cans and cigarette ends. The lawn had dozens of used cigarette ends. Used nappy left on window sill by BBQs. Dirty glasses and crockery which we had to wash before use. Fan in twin room didn’t work.

The location.

1. Mould in the Outdoor Area: There is a significant mould problem in the outdoor section of the property, which poses a health risk and detracts from the living environment. 2. Insect Infestation: The property has ongoing infestations of ants and spiders, which is unacceptable and requires professional pest control. 3. Damaged Downstairs Door Handles: The downstairs exterior door handles are damaged due to rot or deterioration of the wooden doors. This raises safety concerns and limits secure access. 4. Detached Cooker Board: The board beneath the cooker was already detached upon arrival, which indicates poor maintenance prior to my stay. 5. Mice Droppings: There have been visible mice droppings found inside the property, suggesting a rodent infestation that has not been dealt with. 6. Broken Upstairs Bedroom Door: The upstairs bedroom door broke within five minutes of entering the property. This suggests it was in poor condition and not properly inspected before renting out. 7. Insufficient Waste Disposal Provisions: Only two bin bags were provided, which is insufficient for a household and not conducive to proper waste management. These issues collectively reflects a lack of proper maintenance and preparation of the property prior to our stay. I request that these problems be addressed as a matter of urgency and that appropriate steps be taken to rectify them for our inconvenience. Also ensure if you are renting out a property to 9 adults that you provide more then 2 toilet rolls between 2 bathrooms.

Location was fantastic. Great size house for a big family to catch up but not be in each other’s way.

Needs a lot of TLC. When u look closer there are lots of little jobs that need doing.

Location is incredible, right on the sea front. The place is spacious and has everything you need (and more). The bbq is HUGE! I only used the top shower but it was brilliant.

We couldn't quite figure out the heating controls which was a shame. We couldn't find the controls for the electric fire in the living room either. I had been emailing the hosts about a possible early entry, but didn't hear back from them to confirm either way which was a shame. The back door broke during the stay, but we were able to use a side door.

Location and the Seaview..

Not enough bathroom

The location is great, straight onto the beach and able to hear the sea at night. The welcome basket of goodies was a lovely surprise which we all enjoyed and the house was the perfect base to explore the area from

I liked the quiet location on the seafront. Plenty of parking space . A spaceous house with good sized bedrooms and clean, comfortable beds. All towels, bed linen and cleaning things were supplied. The house heated up quickly when the heaters were put on. An unexpected surprise was the welcome basket which was a thoughtful touch on behalf of the owners.

Most of the outside doors were a bit stiff to lock. One lounge window had broken glass, so could not look out, also dangerous with children around. Not enough toilet rolls for 11 people. Not enough dishwasher tablets either. No controller for the fire in the lounge. A few niggles but really could not find much fault.

Spacious house on the beach

Hosts gave good information for access, house was excellent and clean. Great location and lots of added extras in the house.
