Grandmother's House - Salerno

Location and manager was hospitable.

There was a door lock that if turned wrong would get us locked in. A guest turned it and I was locked in.

Modern place and very close to train and Main Street.

We stayed 3 days at the property and we are very satisfied with our stay. The room was spacious, new furniture and comfortable bed. Everything was very clean, towels and sheets smelled fresh and clean. The terrace was a big plus. Alessandro was a wonderful host, always willing to help to give advices and recommendations, he is very attentive to guest’s comfort. He also brought as an iron when we asked for it and was very quick to bring it to us. Breakfast at the bar also great. We will for sure come again and we recommend it if anyone is planning to visit Salerno. :)

Location is near to train station, walking distance to old town. Good ferry conection to Amalfi coast.

In the bathroom is nothing to put towel cross or clothes,before u go on shower.

The property was extremely clean and nicely decorated, very comfortable and a perfect location to stay in salerno! Allesandro was extremely helpful and showed great hospitality, i would definitely return!

Perfect location (supermarket, bar, restaurants, free beach, train station, bus station and ferry station all within 5 minutes by feet), the mother of the host was very kind and welcomed us warmly

Extremely nice hosts: very welcoming and helpful, in spite of my inability to speak Italian well. Room was fantastic: spacious, clean, and well air-conditioned. Bathroom and shower (and shower pressure) were great. Close to the train station and not too far from the nearest ferry port either.

Only thing I will say is that it was a little bit expensive, and that the included breakfast was just a €1.50 voucher for the local café (which was still nice). I would’ve preferred if there was more of a buffet style breakfast included.
