"LOVED IT!"

I loved my stay in Field Island. The family is super nice and friendly! I stayed 4 nights and I got vegan brekfast and dinner every day. And it was delicious! And big portions, I definitely reccommend trying them. :) The place is also good, it is quite close to the beach, about 10 minutes walking or you can always use tuktuk. The area of the place is beautiful, there are a lot of birds near the fields

The owner wanted me to pay in dollars so make sure you ask before in which currency you should pay. I had only LKR but it was not a problem at the end.

Verry friendly host took me to a nice curry place and to the scooter rental. Jungle vibes, everywhere are wild peacooks, monkeys and a lot of birds.

The location is 12/10. You really find yourself on a sort of an island there and you're surrounded by rice fields and a lot of vegetation. It's a serene place but at the same time, the beach as well as the town are pretty accessible from the property. The bed was comfy, the wifi worked great, even for Zoom calls and a plus point is that the room doesn't get too hot during the day. There was a fan but I never used it. There's also a small shared kitchen with a fridge where you can cut your fruit etc. The family who runs it is lovely. I recommend you rent a bicycle as the area is really nice to cycle.
