Happy Days Lodge with Hot Tub

It was quiet, peaceful location in beautiful surroundings. The lodge was spacious and clean with good storage for belongings. The living room area was cosy of an evening to relax and watch tv. The break was good value for money during half term week.

Slight worry of getting water/ leaves on the carpet when drying off after hot tub use. Used towels on the floor (own supply brought in the car was useful). Expensive parking in York but not directly related to the lodge stay.

The lodge was amazing. Everyrhung was ready for us to arrive.

It was abit out the way of york had some trouble getting an uber to york but no problem getting back.

The Receptionists on arrival were very pleasant. Handed over a leaflet with clear instructions to access the site and property. The bar/restaurant staff were very friendly and attentive. We liked the buttons on the table for service.

Would have liked some communication prior to our arrival on how to access the property. However this was very clear and concise once we arrived. Electric charging points did not work properly during our stay. The shower head in the main bathroom was broken but this did not cause any problem until morning of check out so was not reported until check out and therefore not a major issue.

The Lodge was amazing. Comfortable.. clean.. welcoming. The hot tub was great the park looks amazing on a night.
