Cosy Rooms in a Stone Cottage

We felt super relaxed at Ronnie’s home and the room we stayed in and breakfast each morning exceeded our expectations. When we arrived we were given some delicious apple pie with ice cream which we were super grateful for. In addition to that Ronnie had some helpful tips on the area and made sure we were welcome and comfortable. We hope we get the opportunity to stay at Ronnie’s place again.

Ronnie, the host, is a great guy. Ths Cottage is in great condition and close location to Galway City Centre.

I just loved this place,,I would highly recommend staying here,the host was very welcoming,and a great conversationalist,very down to earth. The Apple tart and cream and the cup of coffee both evenings of my stay went down a treat,I have stayed in lots of places, but the "Cosy Rooms in a Stone Cottage had a different touch, a touch of class and a home from home, isn't this what we all strive for, when we go for our long or short breakaway.. Our stay at Cosy Rooms was exactly as described in the listing. Everything was truly clean and well maintained, which made us feel comfortable from the very first moment. Ronnie is an excellent host — he genuinely cares about the people staying with him and is always willing to help with anything you need. On our first day, he welcomed us with homemade apple pie, and one evening he even prepared dinner for us, which made the experience feel incredibly warm and personal. The room was always warm, cozy, and perfect for resting after a long day. We felt at home throughout our entire stay. We definitely recommend this place and enjoyed it so much that we are already planning for our family to stay here when they come to Galway.

Everything was perfect.

A beautiful cottage & warm welcome from Ronnie had us feeling like we were home, a fabulous feeling in the midst of a few weeks of travel. Apple pie & ice-cream soon after arrival was delicious & a lovely treat. Ronnie suggested a few things to do while in Galway. His most helpful map & a couple of notes ensured we had a brilliant day and got to see & experience Galway in ways we otherwise would have overlooked. Can’t thank Ronnie enough for his 11/10 hospitality, thoughtfulness & sharing his much loved and very beautiful cottage with us.

The Cottage with the red door was a really lovely stay.

The place is beautiful and quiet. The owner was lovely and super welcoming, we loved the stay!

El alojamiento es espectacular, la atención de Ronnie era de 10, no pudimos estar más cómodos y contentos tanto con la habitación como con su atención. La casa está a 10/15 minutos en coche de la ciudad, pero a la vez en una zona muy tranquila y con mucho aparcamiento en la parcela, lo cuál era positivo. Además, Ronnie, dejaba un poco de desayuno para todos los huéspedes (cereales, café, té, galletas y croissants), sin coste extra. Nos gustaría volver.

Sólo tengo dos quejas: 1.- La principal queja es que no nos pudimos quedar más tiempo 2.- Como pequeña crítica, estaría bien que preguntase a los huéspedes si tenemos alergias alimientarias para que nos pusiese algo sin gluten (pequeña crítica)

La casa es muy bonita y acogedora, el comedor precioso, y la cama muy cómoda. Pero lo mejor es Roonie y su hospitalidad, una persona amable y simpática. Nos ayudó mucho.

Nada, todo nos gustó mucho!

I couldn't have stayed with a kinder, more welcoming host. Ronnie welcomed me with apple pie and ice cream, then gave me a tour of the area in his car as I was attending a training course in the area the next day. He even shared his own dinner with me on the first night as I was tired after travelling. The room was spotless, great hot water in the shower, good WiFi and comfy bed. Easy to park at Ronnie's too. If you have time to do his recommended Connemara route, do! I'm already looking forward to planning my next visit back.

Un petit déjeuner "complet" bien frugal et très irrégulier en diversité ! Une chambre en sous pente peu pratique !!
