Bien situé sur les hauteurs de Funchal

Nous avons demandé à plusieurs reprises des torchons pour la vaisselle, un tapis de bain pour sortir de la douche, sinon le sol glissant vous risquez de tomber, et l'équipement de la maison est bien, sauf qu'il n'y a pas de cafetière bien dommage, nous avons dû acheter les produits ménager ( produit vaisselle, bombe déodorante wc et le gel pour les wc. Sinon nous avons passé un bon séjour.

Bien situé si on est véhiculé (nous n'avons pas tester les transports en commun), spacieux, silencieux et assez conforable. Facilité de contact avec l'hôte. Du salon, une vue sur Funchal et la mer au loin qui est sympathique.

Chambres assez sombres avec une certaine humidité ambiante, je n'y passerai pas mes journées entières mais on est pas à Madère pour cela. La cuisine est bien équipée mais un fond de tiroir avec par exemple un peu d'assaisonnement ou du sucre aurait pu être profitable.

A stunning house on a hill overlooking the city and the ocean. Very clean and light. Filled with hospitality and care. The windows at the front of the apartment offer stunning views of the city, mountains, plantations, and ocean. A view that is impossible to take your eyes off: when the lights of the city come on in the evening, when dawn paints the sky in shades of pink, when bizarre clouds rush towards the city from the ocean, or when ships disappear into the distance beyond the horizon... However, the house itself has many amazing features: a collection of paintings and tableware, an excellent music system with rare cassette recordings, a collection of orchids... A wide marble staircase leads to the back of the house. The bedrooms, clean and spacious, with comfortable beds and equipped with everything you need, are located at the back of the apartment. This ensures darkness, silence, and coolness at night—just what you need after a long, active day. And how beautifully the birds sing behind the house! Huge soft towels, a bathtub and a rain shower in a spacious bathroom. Hooks, shelves, and hangers are placed exactly where you need them. There is also a separate toilet downstairs. The kitchen deserves special attention. At first glance, it seems like you've entered the home of a Dutch aristocrat who is in love with Portuguese tiles. High-quality kitchen accessories, convenient appliances, and very beautiful tableware - like a separate encounter with art. Practical information: You can park your car on the road in front of the house. The internet works perfectly. It gets a little chilly in the evenings (we were there in February), but there are blankets (cozy) and heaters (we didn't use them). A store with everything you need is really close by. There is also a bakery with fresh pastries and coffee. A beautiful house and an amazing story of the owners' family.

Casa da Silva in Funchal was the perfect place to stay. The property is spotless, beautifully decorated, and offers stunning views that made every morning special. The location is peaceful yet close enough to explore the city easily. The house had everything we needed, and the hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. It truly felt like a home away from home. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Madeira.
