"A wonderful place in the artic northern Norway, the views, the ocean, big windows, just loved it!"

Great lodge with all the facilities, a perfect escape to the artic modern wilderness (kind-of). An easy drive from Kirkenes or Ivalo (Finland). Plenty of activity possibilities around depending on the season.

"A special place"

The welcome flowers, coffee beans and chocolates were very special. Clean and warm with magnificent views. Excellent communication from hosts who went the extra mile to make our stay special. We saw a stout from the house which was very exciting! We didn’t stay long enough. Next time a week!

"Great stay at Ekkeroy"

Lovely place, very quiet and peaceful. Kitchen well furnished. Location is easy to find.

It is some 15-20min drive from the nearest big town. But it is a small issue if one has a car.

"Great Location , suiting families."

Location was just fantastic, this was my treat at the end of a trip, so expensive. As a single person was shocked that I only had a small towel, slept in a huge king size bed but with a single duvet, couldn't watch TV as had no pass codes , so all in all felt a bit cheated.

"Perfect (but too short!)"

Everything. Quiet, super comfortable bed, great location. Very good kitchen, lovely wood burning stove and sauna. We definitely wished we had stayed a week. For sure we will visit again.

Nothing. It was one of the best self catering properties we have stayed in.
