Cottage in the Heart of Frome

Great cosy cottage, which had a lovely family feel to it & had everything we needed apart from a good night sleep.

The twin beds were awfully uncomfortable, and lead to both of us having to sleep on the downstairs sofas. In some of the kitchen pans and pots, where still dirty & had old dinner remains within them.

Nice location, good size rooms, beautiful kitchen, heating worked well. Firm bed, would bring own pillows next time but was a surprise trip.

The cottage is quiet, warm, and cosy and has most things you need for an enjoyable stay. It was also very clean. The hosts also accommodated a slightly later checkout, which was much appreciated.

Some elements were a bit tired, such as the bedding and towels. We were not able to get the TV to work (but that wasn't really also a problem for us). Also, one of the fridges is a little broken as it froze all food and drinks by the next morning. The main thing that caused concern for our group was the slow communication by the hosts. We didn't receive check-in details 24 hrs before and also the contact details are an international number (Kenya) which meant it took a number of hours for them to reply to messages.

Brilliant location to the town. Quiet street and had no problem parking. Cosy and comfortable cottage with everything we needed. Very comfortable bed in main bedroom, plenty of hot water. Lovely to see old furniture to suit the age of the house. No Ikea! We needed advice from the owner on the first night and he responded very quickly.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Lots of useful items in the kitchen but a little milk, even long life milk, would have meant a lot of comfort. Second bedroom beds were not good.

Very cosy and lots of toys for kids. Great central location.

Great central location near to Frome town centre, lots of space and kitchen was outstanding. Main double bed was comfortable but 2 single beds were hard.

Hooks for coats would be useful and more toilet roll please.
