Cottage in the Heart of Frome

Liked location, nice size kitchen. The selection of children's toys kept our children entertained. Also had a child's bed side which was really good for our 3 year old and stopped her rolling out of bed.

All small things. The parking was a little tricky. We also did not have an unlock code sent for the key box until we asked while outside the property. With two young children this was difficult. The contact phone number provided was in Kenya which our phones would not call. The freezer was not switched on so we couldn't use that for our stay.

The kitchen was a great size, the living room was a bit dark and furniture dated.

The shower was slow and hard to work. The shower curtain was really dirty. The former was hard to flush you had to really hold down the button. There was no bedside table lamp or bedside table in the second before. Parking was tricky.

Great location. Ease of parking. Comfy cottage. Liked the welcome pack with plenty of useful information.

Unfortunately there wasn't any kitchen towel or dish clothes & it would have been nice to have had a pint of milk in the fridge, altho' fortunately there was a shop just down the road.

Perfect location - a 7 min walk to St Catherine Hill and the lovely cobbled streets and independent shops. Lovely quiet house, well maintained, parking outside was fine. Highly recommend.

Not getting any correspondence about the booking or the keycode until 3 hrs before check-in. Completely understand why they wouldn't want early check-ins (as the owners live here when it isn't booked) but a reply to my original enquiry just to this effect would have been appreciated/reassuring.

Easy to find location and good parking outside the house. Lovely kitchen and it was nice to have some additional toys in the house for the kids to play with. Good information from the host made everything easy to use and find.

Nothing that had anything to do with the host or their home.

Clean , homely and well equipped, home from home .

Could do with a hand rail for the stairs .
