Cottage in the Heart of Frome

Beautiful cottage in the most beautiful settings. Lovely, picturesque cottage in beautiful Frome. We booked it because we needed to get to Centre Parcs, which is only 10 mins drive and 30 mins away from Bath. Great communication from the owner. The house was clean and very stylish. All facilities provided, inc acces to Netflix, fully equipped kitchen and free parking and the bedding smelled amazing. It would also be great for a family with children as its very child friendly. I would highly recommend this cottage.

The property had a very nice kitchen and a back yard.

The parking outside was difficult. The property is a row home with lots of other row homes on either side of the street. There were very few spaces in which to park. We were lucky to find spots at the end of the street.

Comfy beds and good location. The keys were easily accessible. The little garden was nice and the facilities were good. The host was pleasant and messaged quickly.

Cleanliness could have been better. On removing one of the drawers in the 1st fridge I noticed that it was dirty underneath, so I had to clean the fridge. In the second fridge the bottom was full of water and the freezer needs deicing and there was a half melted lolly refrozen into the ice. A couple of the plates in the pile had food remnants on. It just needs a general dust and clean on shelves and in cupboards.

The 2nd bedroom wasn't as described, I thought there'd be a double bed ,but there wasn't one

On arrival we couldnt open the lock box with the code given by booking.com I had to go into messages to find the actual code from the hosts. Could do with side tables in the lounge to put drinks on when sitting watching tv - there was a footstool that we put a dish on to use as a table for wine glasses We were disappointed with Frome itself - it had changed a lot since we visited 15 years ago

Black Mould in the bathroom. No welcome pack. Unkept garden. Full rubbish and recycling bins.

Lovely cottage in Frome with an easy walk into town. We had everything we needed for our stay.
