"Wouldn’t stay again due to unfair £50 charge."

Location, comfort, hot tub

We have been charged £50 for the hot tub water to be changed. There was torrential rain on the Saturday and this will have gotten into the tub. We didn’t eat or drink in the tub! The lodger wasn’t particularly clean when we arrived, bits on the floor, the patio hadn’t be swept. We left in spotless.

"Lovely stay"

Very comfortable property with everything you need for a short stay. Site facilities are wonderful too.

Make sure you don’t self tan before using the hot tub. We were hit with a £50 hot tub cleaning charge.

"A beautiful relaxing stay"

First impressions were super, the setting, reception staff and the lodge was beautifully presented and had everything you needed and more. We had a very comfortable 2 night stay on what appeared to be a very quiet site. The maintenance staff soon solved a problem with the hot tub so that was great.

Unfortunately the fridge hadn't been wiped out between stays and the guttering was full of weeds , little things but easily sorted.

"lovely lodge for families with children"

beautiful Lodge. very clean. staff were lovely when spoken to. very spacious in the shared area and very well presented

twin rooms were a little small and lacked some storage. there was a wardrobe. but only 1 drawer.

Exceptionally clean accommodation Beautiful lodge The restaurant was a decent size and decorated lovely. The restaurant staff were very good, and the restaurant manager was excellent. Twenty minutes from York

The food in the restaurant on our first night was lovely. But the second night it wasn't. A little bit bland.
