Basic. Cheap furniture and mattress. All looks very tired with limited cleaning. Shower room/toilet was very restrictive/poor design and dirty. Could not lock patio doors. Smell of cannabis on the ground floor and urine in the corridor to car parking.
EGGBThe location of the accommodation is very good. Everything is within a 5-15 minute walk. Tesco, the beach, restaurants, entertainment venues etc. parking £5/day, covered parking 10 minute walk. simply a very good location! The accommodation was clean. Of course I cleaned the bathroom once more but only for my own peace of mind! The view from the balcony is very nice.
The balcony door is difficult to close, but you just have to figure out the trick. Of course, it could be fixed so that it doesn't cause any annoyance. The building sometimes has a rather unpleasant smell of food. But obviously for others this is not a holiday home but a long-term residence. The seagulls are loud, the street is noisy, but there is not much you can do about it.

What is being advertised as an apartment it's actually a room with a sink. The balcony door didn't lock and the balcony served multiple rooms. It felt unsafe and when we were out we were concerned about our belongings. The bathroom was dirty, the shower tray didn't drain, the whole building had a dirty smell, the carpet in the room had stains and everything seemed just bodged up. The cold tap was rotating as you were trying to switch off the water... and many other issues... The best part of the building/apartment was the lift!

The number we rang for getting the keys or being let into the building to check in was not working and we went back and forth trying to figure out how to get into our hotels for a good 30-40 mins atleast for the staff that was meant to be answering the calls and manning the desk to be cleaning the apartment at the same time. Terrible staff management. We even called out of hours for no one to pick up many many times. Just the experience of getting our keys was very draining which put a shadow on our visit. Not a good first impression but the flat was clean and views nice.
GBGood location many restaurants and bars within 10 minutes walk. Cap'n Jasper's and the Barbican close by. Great view from the balcony of the lighthouse and the sea. On street parking (free for blue badge holders) onsite underground parking available and a laundry too (payable).
Although there is a lift to the apartment some people with mobility issues may find the stairs up to the main entrance a little steep if carrying a suitcase. No 8 is next to the fire door which "bangs like a barn door in a gale" with constant use. You do get used to it though.
