"Not pleasant, we didn’t eat in the flat or want to spend any time in it because it smelt."

It was a good size

It was on the top floor, with no lift. The door key didn’t work and took some time to get in. The location was not nice. The flat was dirty and smelt of cigarette smoke. No plug for sink to wash dishes , hence they were dirty on arrival. There was mould on the ceiling. The bath had lots of chips . Burn marks on the heater cover and carpet. The host apologized but it didn’t help the situation. This flat charges £75 to clean it when you leave but I don’t believe it had a good clean before our arrival. Southampton was very busy with a concert on so had to stay put .

"I want my money back!"

The location of the property.. The property has potential but is poorly managed.

My family and I had the worst experience ever. There was no power until I detected that the main power switch to the sockets of the apartment was off from the mains. The windows were in a horrible state, I could not risk opening them as they could fall off and cause harm. We had to endure significant heat due to the lack of ventilation. All the Fans were bad, except one, the smallest and least effective. The Shower was Bad. Could not take a decent bath throughout our 2 days stay. There was a significant cigarette smell all over the apartment. The property management did not send anyone to repair the shower despite my request. The property management claimed they would send a part refund but have not, as of now. Honestly, I am entitled to all my money. We only stayed because we could not get another apartment nearby.

Falta de água quente, ficamos uma semana inteira sem água quente, estou com a garganta inflamando pois precisas tomar banho, por vez tínhamos que esquenta água, e tomar banho com balde 🪣 tomamos banho de baldinho isso foi uma das piores experiências em um lugar caro que cobra calção sendo que o apartamento precisa de tantas melhoras

arrived at the accommodation around 5:30 PM, even though the listed check-in time was between 3:00 and 4:00 PM. To my surprise, all the check-in information was incorrect: the safe code for the key was wrong, the safe was located in a completely different place, and random strangers — who should not have access — helped me with private information such as the safe code and its location. Even more concerning, the host had told me that no one else would know this information, which made the situation highly unsafe and unprofessional. This wasn’t even my first bad experience at this same place. I had stayed here once before with a friend, and we had the exact same issues — that time we simply left and didn’t stay. This time, I decided to give it another chance, believing it might be under different management. Unfortunately, I was wrong — it was the same problem all over again. Once we finally entered the apartment (again, thanks to strangers), we found a disgusting, filthy mess, with more than five people still inside, including a cleaning lady who had just started cleaning around 6:00 PM. So not only was the place not ready by check-in time, but it was in a condition that was unfit for anyone to stay in. And as if things couldn’t get worse — they did. After stepping out to buy a few things, we couldn’t get back into the building because the entrance code was incorrect. We were stuck outside for over an hour, with no response from the host or Booking support. Luckily, a neighbour happened to come by and opened the door for us — that’s when we learned the entrance didn’t even work with the code provided, but rather with a physical key that was never mentioned or given to us. This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had with Booking. The place was dirty, disorganised, unsafe, and full of false information, with zero support.

"Disgusting, unable to stay here....still waiting on refund!!"

This apartment was disgusting! It was old and stunk of cigarette smoke, to the point that we did not even stay here! We entered, we wanted to vomit from the smell, and we left within one minute. This company also requires a hefty 250-pound security deposit......ridiculous! It is in a disgusting location and the actual apartment is unliveable.

"Do not stay here"

I can’t say that I liked anything about it.

1. The description provided is incorrect for the following reasons: there are two locks on the wall and no indication which one to use. The parking where the box is does not display the number you are supposed to find. 2. Once you solve these two mysteries, the lock key provided is not what they say but another one listed later. 3. The key in the lock is for the front door downstairs and that is not mentioned anywhere, it is for you to figure out. 4. If you pass these three steps then you are in the building - they could mention that it is on the top floor but to keep you going they do not, it is for you to figure out. 5. You finally get to the door and realise that the description is again misleading and not obvious how to use. But if you crack all these codes you are finally inside - congratulations if you get this far. Mind you, no assistance will be provided even if you reach out to them. Anyway, you made it into the flat which looks and feels like a ran down university pad where lots of parties where held and now they decided it to let it out for punters like us. Don’t be fooled - the freezer door handle might get stuck in your hand, the balcony door has a rather interesting way of opening it, the bath is chipped in several places and the clean is superficial. Cutlery to be washed thoroughly before use and if you hear little mice feet just imagine it’s not in the room but either on the balcony or on the ceiling above you. The carpet should just be replaced everywhere along with all the beds and living room furniture. I could go on, but simply put : do not stay here, for this money you get a fab clean room in a hotel.
