Great location in modernised old building in historic centre of Ortigia.

Lighting effects are ludicrous but fun so just go with it ! Booking in procedures were lengthy and tedious.

Property was fantastic! The owner was extremely kind and thoughtful to make sure we were happy with our accommodations. He had excellent recommendations to help us navigate ortigia. The property was extremely clean and in a fantastic area. We were 5 mins away to major attractions.

The “party” lights and their on off switches were a bit of a challenge

Modern, new, clean apartment, comfortable, great location, lovely hosts, great communication, very safe town and area. Hosts bought a toaster and an electric water kettle for us, when we mentioned that they would be nice to have in the apartment. That was very appreciated and a kind gesture on their part, to help us feel at home.

We weren't crazy about the led mood changing color features in the rooms, but that's a personal preference.

New condition. Tried to upload picks but failed the listing is accurate and better than expected. Exceptionally clean. Tasteful modern decor and finishes. Latest technologies and streaming services on large tv. Equipped with latest smart home features. Comfortable with great location. Very quiet for the density of the island. Wanted to stay longer and doubt we will find better at this price point in Europe or anywhere else. Also note we felt secure day and night on the island and in the apartment and vicinity. Be advised I believe it is mandatory to be comfortable with basic smartphone operations as entry lock access of 2-doors is by app use. We were able to use wifi connectivity only, outside apartment entrance to accomplish entry before SIM activation. Manager immediately responded to whatapp messaging for a few questions we had. Be sure to get whatsapp if from USA as it seems all of Europe had abandoned texting and SMS. As a world traveler (40+ countries) from USA this is a great destination and exceptional apartment at a value price point. You do need to have modest independent traveler and tech skills. Do not hesitate to book and stay 1-day more if possible. After leaving we wish we would of daytripped to Noto etc from this as a base as roads were fast and distances short.

On demand water heater takes getting used to but works well and water pressure adequate not great. 2-door lock entry via phone app was a new tech for us, and it worked well, but we were afraid of the possibility of failure or more likely operator error.
