Melbas Whaleshark and Beach Resort

Melba’s Homestyle was easily our favourite accommodation during our trip in Cebu! The atmosphere was very warm and welcoming and the staff was always ready to assist us with our needs. We also loved the food that you can get from the resort restaurant.

Very hospitable and caring owners. Tasty breakfasts and a big choice of meals for lunches/dinners. Clean room with a table in the backyard. 15 minutes by motorbike to Oslob whale shark watching.

Clean, quiet, friendly staff and hosts, fabulous beachfront outlook, good snorkelling.

Wifi minimal to none in room, however our host Edwardo did his best to rectify this as best he could.

The staff was great, very clean and homey place, location was very convenient from the town, and a beachfront where you could chill and relax 🩵 BUT THEIR FOOD MENU WAS THE BEST OF ALL! only stayed 2 nights but could have been more and not worry about where to eat very good food 🤤

Props on the husband of the owner Eduardo! Great hospitality, welcome drinks and he helped us to plan our trip. Every recommendation we got from him were a hit! Also very honest when it comes to several places to go/no to go and that was much appreciated. Breakfast was great. Variety of filipino breakfast or typical american one. Food was very good and authentic since Eduardo was a chef before. Highly recommended to go there for lunch and dinner! All in all a great experience and will come for sure again.

A fantastic place. Like in paradise. Very good cuisine, a large selection. Very quiet location. Very friendly hosts and the staff was also perfect.
