Noise of M6 as you might expect but did not bother me. Breakfast swimming in oil.

Very disappointing this time from previous stays when we checked in told grill in kitchen not working limited menu. Breakfast ordered on day 2 waited 30 mins not good impression... had to chase what was going on to be told still doing work in kitchen lack of comms between kitchen & staff to keep customers updated got total refund of brekkie monies. Maintenance needed in bathroom of room 12, no loo brush, hot water tap needs attention & shower needs updating with no soap in dispenser at all. When checked out at 9.05am on 20 May 26 there were two individuals male & female smoking or vaping something... plugged into power socket in reception area check your cameras please & no staff around smelt awful not a very good impression at all for hotel & greene king

Could do with a bit of a make over … bit of a musty smell in the corridor.

The room was shabby looking and the cup chipped. Bathroom not good, no plug in the wash basin. Room not properly cleaned, despite the request. Probably wouldn't stay again unless the rooms were upgraded. Pity, as the location is good.
