Quiet and pleasant despite its proximity to the M6. Very good value for money, and breakfast being available at a reasonable time (0700) on Sunday was very welcome.

Some shared spaces were a little 'tired' and require tidying up - some frayed carpet on the stairs, for example.

"Atrocious. Never again,"

Staff were pleasant and professional. Breakfast cooked to order.

Atrocious motorway noise all the time and dreadful loud music in the pub breakfast area. Continuous volume of sound made the stay very unpleasant and exhausting. Breakfast buffet area arranged in a very annoying manner. MY son's shower didn't work. I cut my foot on a bit of broken glass in the bedroom. Too much effort to complain. Staff pleasant. Prior to visit, I returned a call from The Mount, only to be greeted with an AI programme with was useless and exasperating. Come on Greene King! You're in the hospitality business! That is PEOPLE business! Never again.

A good location conveniently near the M6. Surrounded by trees and pleasant grounds. Nice and quiet considering its location.
