The property was ideally located for hiking, with the Moelwyn Mountain ranges. Llyn Cwmorthin was a 5 minute walk by road followed by a 30 minute walk through fields. Had such a great time!

They didn't factor in my long stay, so only left me 1 towel for 21 nights. I asked for more, but this was never provided despite being reassured it would be.

"Our stay was very enjoyable."

7.0

We really liked the location and felt the property offered excellent value for money. It was also very spacious, which made our stay especially comfortable, and we really appreciated the decor and the overall appearance of the place. It felt welcoming, well looked after, and was a lovely place to stay.

There were just a few small areas that could be improved. Parking was a little limited, and the road outside was quite busy, with traffic moving fairly quickly at times. In the kitchen, a few additional items such as a measuring jug would have been useful, and having some extra towels available would also have been helpful. The house was generally fairly clean, though it felt as though it may not have had as thorough a clean as it could have before our arrival.

"A lovely stay which suited our needs as a family with two teenagers. Thank you"

8.0

We loved the location as it was quite central to everywhere we wanted to go. We loved the games room and spent lots of time down there. The layout of the property was great and it was well decorated and modern. Access to sky and the cinema room were also a hit! Courtyard garden was pleasant.

It wasn’t as clean as we’d expect. Little things like dirty socks in the bedroom and sweet containers down there back of the sofa from the previous guests we assume. The rubbish bin outside was full when we arrived and we weren’t aware it was bin day day the next morning so it didn’t get emptied. Parking was a little tricky. The shower leaked through to the kitchen although this didn’t really affect us. I also think it needed more kitchen ware (mugs in particular, there were only 5).

"Tiresome."

5.0

The property was fine

The heating system turned on in the middle of the night and made the property unbearably hot. The heating system also makes a loud banging noise when running which woke me up both nights which resulted in us getting 6-7 hours sleep over our 2 nights stay. We planned on doing 2 days of hiking but were too tired for our second day and had to just go home.

"Great property, good location and well equipped"

8.0

Great property with lots of space for our group (2 adults, 3 teens and a dog). Well equipped and warm with some great views. Lovely walks nearby, 2 mins from Zipworld Llechwedd, 5 mins to Festinniog Railway and not far from coast or mountains. Really enjoyed our stay.

Garden could have been a little bit more welcoming but appreciated bike rack.
