Communication before arrival was friendly and clear. The place was easy to find, and I was warmly greeted as soon as I arrived. I was shown around and given helpful tips on where to go and how to get there. The host was incredibly warm and welcoming - I instantly felt like I was on holiday! I will definitely be going back to stay, 1 night wasn't enough.

We loved the decor and the homely feel. Beautifully proportioned rooms, wonderful views and lots of areas to relax in.
We would have liked to have seen photos of the pool on the properties profile. It’s a nice area and it’s not shown.

This beautiful mansion and its studios were such a lovely surprise during our trip in and around Cape Town! We loved everything about it. Alex is the perfect host, making us feel so welcome, preparing a wonderful breakfast and always happy to chat, give advice or even picking us up when no Uber driver wanted to come and get us! Her partner Nic and the staff are also great, making sure we had everything we needed. And we loved our studio, which had the best bed we've ever had in a hotel, and was so spacious and well equipped. And I haven't even mentioned the amazing main house, with its rich history and beautiful details, that was so beautifully renovated by Alex and Nic. It was nice to be able to hang out in the shade on the deck at the front or in the living room at night. And being animal lovers, we loved the cats! (if you don't, you will only see them outside if you call them). The area was perfect too, close to Boulders Beach and other nice beaches and restaurants. And a nice walk to town, which felt very safe. All in all: the perfect stay in a perfect place!
