A Good and kind host, peaceful location and hygienic. Traveling solo or with company this is the best place for you to stay.

During my recent solo trip to Bodh Gaya, I stayed at Hostales, and I found it to be an excellent accommodation choice. The hostel maintained a high standard of cleanliness and offered comfortable amenities, creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. The staff were particularly helpful, providing valuable local tips and recommendations to enhance my stay. Hostales also featured common areas that encouraged interaction among travelers, allowing me to connect and make new friends. Its location, situated in a village area, is within walking distance of all major attractions, making it convenient for sightseeing. Overall, whether traveling solo or with friends, Hostales serves as a highly recommended option for a memorable and enjoyable experience in Bodh Gaya

Atmosphere

Clean and well maintained

It's a really cosy place where it's easy to meet people. The owner Armaan is very funny and accommodating. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner at affordable prices on top of that!

It is a little out of the way of the center of Bodh Gaya but still a walkable distance of 2km. A Tuk Tuk ride would take you there in 10 min.

I can’t think of a better place to stay for solo travellers. All other guests were also solo, some from India, most from Europe and the US. Arman, the owner, is just like a friend but is attentive and professional at the same time. The outside, campfire, fairy lights, are all magical and you’re just secluded in mystical Bihar farmland. Nevertheless, the main Mahabohdi Temple is only a short walk away. My room was spacious, clean and comfy. This place is awesome and I could have stayed for weeks! The stay is perfect serene get away to the place of enlightenment. The place is clean and hygienic. Just the place looks little small but has awesome aura and campfire. I would definetly recommend it

This was my all time favorite hostel I’ve ever been to. It had more of a homestay vibe than a hostel. The owner, Arman, made us feel like part of his family from the moment we checked in. He was so kind and fun and just wonderful. The food was also great. And my friend and I did a sightseeing tour with Irfan and it was incredible. He took us on his motorbike and we had an amazing day seeing the sights of Bodhgaya. I loved loved loved this place. Amazing vibes, super social, 10/10. Highly recommend staying here! Would’ve stayed longer if we had the time.

There was only 1 western toilet (and 1 squatter toilet) for the whole dorm so sometimes had to wait to use the toilet if someone was in the shower etc. But this wasn’t nearly inconvenient enough to affect the quality of my stay.
