"A perfect place to stay in Bath"

We had a fabulous weekend with family celebrating a birthday. The attention to detail in the apartment was second to none, the owners have thought of absolutely everything. The apartment is spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated to a very high standard. The apartment is in a great location and we were able to walk into the centre in 5-10 minutes, Walcott Street itself has a number of independent shops which are great for browsing I would have no hesitation in recommending this property - 10/10

"Very good"

We loved the location, very close to everything and lots of options for breakfast nearby. The accommodation is spacious and very well equipped.

The front two bedrooms are quite noisy because of the nearby restaurants and bars. There are very loud seagulls that woke us in the early hours!

Beautifully restored historic house. Nice touch from hosts as decorated for Christmas and very festive plus mulled wine and minced pies for our arrival.

The accommodation was beautiful, clean and comfortable. Extra touches were appreciated, such as mulled wine, mince pies and Christmas tree. Excellent communication from host.

The house had everything we needed and was a great location. A short walk into the city and some lovely shops and bars nearby.

Parking was a little hard to track down but a multi storey a little way down the road was fine once you found it.

"Luxurious & spotless"

We move around the country and have stayed in a variety of accommodation. We own rental ourselves so have an appreciation for the investment and effort that is involved in offering a property like Merchant House with such high standards. Alan and his partner do an exceptional job in providing the highest of luxury in accommodation in Bath city centre, a few minutes level walk. Anyone who has the opportunity to stay at the Old Merchant House will not be disappointed. The property is spacious and luxurious with a wonderful enclosed terrace off the living space/ kitchen which has a southerly aspect with views. Thank you Alan we enjoyed our stay very much indeed.

Great location for all of Bath. 15 minutes walking to everything. Gorgeous house. High end finishes, linens and accessories. Views to die for.
