The Old Wine Merchant's House

The location was great. Just a short walk to the center of Bath. Lots of local restaurants. Property was super clean, very nice and comfortable. A wonderful view off the back porch, a great place to have a meal with the family with enjoying the view! Very nice kitchen, we made breakfast every day. Great value for a reasonable price. I highly recommend this house!

Stairs were a bit narrow, hard to get bags up the stairs. Laundry machine didn't get the clothes dry. That might be our fault, but it was not obvious how to run it.

This house is so comfortable, clean and enough space for more than just our family of six adults. Beautiful views from the outdoor patio off of the kitchen and from the staircase. Very clean, comfy beds and fully appointed kitchen. The living room had plenty of options to get cozy.

It would have been icing on the cake to have a couple full size fans or ceiling fans in the bedrooms to beat the heat but we did well with pulling shades and opening windows.

Perfect location to walk to local bars and restaurants

Parking, but to be expected in Bath Closest car park is the Podium and about a 5min walk No bathroom in shared area. Have to either use 2nd floor ensuite or go to top floor for the loo

Stunning accommodation with the wow factor. Superbly well-equipped and spotlessly clean, plus approachable, helpful host who also provided a thoughtful welcome package of essential groceries and wine. Ideal location within a few minutes' walk of centre, yet a quiet neighbourhood. Would not hestitate to recommend. Top marks in every department - we would award higher than a ten if this option was available!

A beautifully decorated town house in the exciting Walcott area of Bath. We loved the interior space and the terrace with beautiful views of the Rolling hills surrounding the city. We could not have had a better experience staying in Bath and we hope to come back.

It's hard to find any fault with our stay. If I am to be picky the touchpad on entering the property was a little unresponsive when I tried to activate it but this is negligible.

A stunning property in a great location. We loved all of the finishing touches such as the mood lighting, it’s renovated to a very high standard! We loved it so much we cancelled our dinner plans to have take away on the terrace so that we could make the most of staying in such a gorgeous house!

A great property, great location and had everything you could possibly want in a rental property.

The only things were - because it was SO hot an umbrella on the terrace would have been nice and we couldn’t open the skyline in the top floor bathroom window and other windows.
