The Old Wine Merchant's House

What can I say - this property exceeded our expectations. 5 of us stayed for a weekend to explore Bath and the Christmas market. It's a spacious townhouse over 4 floors - hallway at ground floor, kitchen / diner / terrace on the first floor, master with ensuite on the 2nd floor and two bedrooms and a bathroom on the top floor. It's beautifully decorated, and the Christmas tree and other decorations that had been put up were a lovely touch! As was the bottle of fizz, bread, milk and biscuits on arrival. The kitchen was very well stocked including a Ninja air fryer if you wanted to cook (and ovens and microwave). The beds were incredibly comfy (comfier than my own tbh!) and the bathrooms super modern with rainfall showers. It was nice to stay somewhere that you could comfortably hang out in, rather than feel forced to be out and about all the time. It felt like a home, rather than a holiday let. The views from the terrace are great too. Location is also spot on - a 10 minute walk into town, and you walk past a Waitrose each time for supplies. 100% recommend this place :)

The number of stairs would make the house not suitable for very young kids or those less mobile, but that is the only thing I can think of!

Hot tub next door

Absolutely everything was perfect! Alan & Revi are amazing hosts and wonderful to deal with. Every detail about the property and the comfort of your stay has been well thought out. Will definitely look to stay again when we’re back in Bath. We especially enjoyed the terrace and were even tempted across the road to the Bell Inn!

Well located, beautifully presented apartment.

Water had a distinct taste, so we appreciated the filter jug provided.

There aren’t enough words to describe this property it was beautiful and the hosts Alan & Ravi can’t do enough to make your stay wonderful, they even decorated the room for my daughter’s birthday. Would love to come back and stay here again

All was perfect 🤩

From start to finish, Alan & Revi were on hand for all questions/needs. Their communication was brilliant. The location was spot on for central Bath, and being able to park securely nearby was very reassuring. The beds were incredibly comfortable! And the whole house was very clean/interiors were spot on. On arrival there was a lovely welcome package of breakfast goods/prosecco which was very appreciated. The house itself is stunning, and the balcony view was unbelievable. We would definitely stay here again, and I will be telling all my friends about this gem! Thank you to Alan and Revi.
